Exploring Nippori Textile Town

So I finally made it to Nippori's textile town I'd been hearing so much about. After being disappointed by the fabric store in Shibuya I literally danced down the street with happiness upon arriving to Nippori. I only took a few pics because I spent most of my time (and money) gawking at all the stores. Check em out:

Vintage Style 11.8.09

I went to a local festival in umm...sorry I forgot the section of Tokyo. I did a lot of shopping because the vintage was so cheap and good! I got this hooded faux fur jacket for $28!

Oh and Japan has the best vintage...its crazy. Their buyers are sending all the vintage flyness from all over the world here! If you (like myself) are an avid vintage collector you must make the trip here.

She's gotta be my favorite person I've photographed so far. Oh and I took this picture at 4pm in Shimokitazawa. She reminds me of an anime character I can't remember which one :/. That's a wig tucked in her top. Amazing creativity.

Ebisu Guys 11.4.09

I went to Ebisu with my friend Mari J and met two wonderful guys. One shop owner and one night club owner. Check them out:

It is really cool to meet these two and photograph them in their spaces. You will notice how their shop and club are a reflection of them and their style. Kawaii!
