I Splurged...Miu Miu Sequin Pumps
For the lst time ever I splurged on designer. I usually don't buy designer unless its vintage or given to me through a styling gig. I couldn't resist these they were originally $690 and marked down to $413.90 but I paid way less than that. Its because a lot of high end stores are marking things WAY down because of the recession. If you have extra money or are just crazy like me nows the time to shop high end. Now all I need is somewhere to wear these...hmm.
Until then, I can't wait to wear these!

Just another night out: 10.1.08
Those of you that know me know I have been in my cave! I've been working on my site, new business cards, etc. So...I haven't really been going out. First I went to a Vh1 casting...this is what I wore:
Later I hit APT in the meatpacking district on a WED for the 1st time in like a year. The music was dope! It was soooooo hott in there. I had to go upstairs to breathe...don't I blend in nicely...
I was hanging with my new friends Vic and Charisma (I met them at the casting) and we all decided at 1:30 am to hit POP burger. But it was closed :(. Vic was devastated...
Really devastated...
Awww...we'll go there next time...don't cry...
All in all a good night out with no drama and I made new friends! I'm gonna try and step out of my cave more :).Until then, POP burger!

Point Your Toes
Don't give away all those pointy toe shoes and boots you've been storing in the attic. They are "back" in style now. These boots are all available on Net-a-porter.com. I know I have a shoe stash that I'm going start utilizing again. Remember fashion is cyclical...everything comes back!

Recession Party
As we know it is a recession and fall and I must let go of a lot of the beautiful items I have accumulated. Oh Richie Rich and Traver Rains, I do live for you. Heatherette's duo is such an inspiration to myself because they started off making clothes in their apt and were at the right place at the right time and then they BLEW UP. Their designs are usually over the top and most people I know wouldn't wear them (except me). I credit them with keeping the fun in fashion. I find that many fashion lines while beautifully made and well thought out can be very stiff. SO Heatherette is necessary for balance. And their designs are hott:
