Despite the "RECESSion" Couture lives...kinda. In a forum where Haute Couture designers get to show everyone what they got...many designers played it safe. In my opinion, a lot of the collections looked like RTW collections and not Couture. But then again to qualify as Couture depends on how much is spent on fabric, hand construction, exclusivity and not JUST over-the-top designs.
