Fashion Week Day 1: Rag & Bone A/W 09

"It's the most wonderful time of the year...." Fashion Week! I attended the Rag & Bone show on Friday and I LOVED the collection. Here are a few shots:

 

 

The collection was mostly black and grey with pops of white and red.  The accessories were cord and tassel necklaces.  The womenswear played a lot with menswear fabrics and structures to create feminine looks. The menswear consisted of tailored blazers, jackets and coats.  These were then paired with pants that were gathered at the knee and ankle for a potato sack effect. The look was topped off with patent leather Adidas sneakers. Nice. I loved the styling!  

Trends/ Notable:

1. Chunky knits

2. High collars (buttoned/ military)

3. Leather/wool paneled leggings (women)
