My homie Supanova is having a dope listening party today at 5pm at Brooklyn Renaissance. Some of my art will be on display and I'll be coordinating up all the visuals for the event. Also, I'll be waitressing on my roller skates...you know how we do...hustling hustling hustling yo! Oh and did I mention its FREE?!

On February 5th at 5 pm, Brooklyn Renaissance will host the listening party for New Rap Order’s forthcoming compilation CD titled “The Supa Giant Compilation,” featuring Supa Nova. (Official Release DATE March 28, 2009)
Brooklyn Renaissance is located at 1049 Fulton St. Brooklyn, NY (between Irving & Downing). Public transportation to reach the venue: A C, S Trains to Franklin Ave or B25 to Classon, or visit HopStop for door to door travel instructions.
SupaNova will be joined by local artists, Feat TreZure the Empress interpreting their underground hit song “Black Girl,” and will be joined by a host of local musicians, film directors and fashion designers. Featured musical guest artists include acclaimed drummer Daru Jones (Black Milk, Talib Kweli), MC K~Swift (N.R.O, Urban Word N.Y.C, Zulu Nation) , Jah – C (N.R.O , Glow In The Dark Records), and Cavalier (The Dugout, Cavwins.com), among many others.
Throughout the evening, video projects by local film/video artists will be screened, including film works by NYU Film student and award-winning video director Shaka King who was awarded Best Video at the H20 Film Festival for Star Power’s “Clock Work” video , Iller Than Theirs “Razor Bumps “ on Embedded Records, as well as selections from the award- winning production company Procreate Pictures who has produced events for The Roots , and SupaNova’s award winning “Black Girl” video.
In addition, guests will enjoy a display of new fashion from local designers such as Fashion Hurtz, Scum Life, Mpressive Concepts Apparel, LiteFreedomariposas.com and BKR (Brooklyn Renaissance). Attendees may win complimentary door-prizes and giveaways courtesy of The Black Girl Campaign, Chay (Stylist to the Stars and Designer), and Cavwins.com.
